it doesnt even have to be a conscious thing by the rents.
They could simply see the PSU uni and turn away in disgust.
I imagine it'll happen even with adults would who by the game for themselves.
its just not smart business to put the logo of a reviled school on cover.
its doesnt matter if they are still in the game.

its the same reason beer companies put hot chicks in their commercials.
is it stupid that a guy might buy beer b/c they see boobs in a commercial?

also, I mentioned the logo b/c sometimes they put more than just a player on the cover.
and it doesn't matter if they are in the game b/c when they aren't on the cover they don't immediately pop into your head giving you negative feelings about the product before you purchase it.

The beers that have commercials with boobs tend to be really shitty. The lesson here is that if you have a shitty product, you need great marketing. If you have a great product (and brand), not so much.
