During the Miles era, which players have we seen make big advances in skills/performance on the field?

I know that we have seen many defensive players like Claiborne really improve, but what about on the offensive side?

Similar question: Which position coaches get the most out of their players and really coach them up?

Ridley comes to mind.

ETA: I would say the running backs give the most production on offense period. So whoever our RB coach is keep doing what your doing

Just on offense...

Lonergan. I didn't think he could handle the job at all when he first arrived, and he turned into a pretty good center.

Landry. Man, his play has dramatically improved this season. He's becoming a go-to receiver. I love this guy.

Mettenberger. Think back to September. I don't think he's "there" yet, but the light bulb went on around the Bama game. He looked lost in September. Still needs pocket awareness, but he's improved a ton.

Scott. He went from a depth guy to an absolutely battering ram his final season. I still think his shoulder injury was a bigger impact on the Bama game than Peterson's non-INT.

Lee. Lee went from most detested player in LSU history as a freshman to beloved folk icon in his senior year.

LaFell. Went from a guy who couldn't catch a cold to an NFL receiver.

Quinn Johnson. A fullback who kept getting better and the standard by which we still judge our fullbacks.

I would agree with all of those and Ridley. Dickson also got better at TE.

WR's and RB's mainly on the list, along with a few O-Linemen?

On defense, will LSU continue to develop the DBs since Cooper's gone?

Will we finally see what Chavis can do with a complete linebacking corps?

I think Dickson regressed a bit his senior year, but some of that was the QB issues. I tried to do a sampling of all offensive positions on my list, since the OP wanted to limit it to offense.

but players aren't sticking around like they do at other programs.

Perfect example is the situation with Brockers.

he had injury issues, and the coaches never really seemed to cultivate the groove he and JJ were in after JJ took over as QB late in 08.

how is that a perfect example? dude had shot up to near the top of draft boards at his position. it's hard not to come out under those circumstances.
