Think Miles will succumb to the pressure to hire a new OC ?

I think he will. He needs to pull the trigger and completely turn the offense over to someone else. Just like the defense with Chavis.

He did with Mallveto. Dont see with enough pressure why he wont do the same on offense.

he could hire sean payton and the offense would be as predictible as it has been, do we really need to do the OC shuffle every few years and pretend things might get better?

Please let us know where the pressure is coming from. Names please.

He gives zero fricks. He doesn't have the insane drive to win championships year in and year out(see story about 2010 auburn game when he talked to the official during the 4th quarter). He thinks winning 10 games is an awesome accomplishment and he's laughing on the way to the bank. In four more years he'll extort LSU for more money. It's a cycle.

How long did it take him to fire Crowton? Becasue 112th in the nation in 2009 was acceptable for another year.

God I hope so. Studs has proven to be ineffective * =understatement. Who then, do we get to fill the spot?

not unless he receives calls, letters, emails from fans.

what difference does it make? Miles is still in charge of game management and the clock...

There is ZERO pressure on Miles. He just got a new contract and can do whatever the frick he wants.

Hmmmm, will the Hat be "Malvetoestic" or "Teppertrastic"? Which way will he go?

I love Miles, and find the gnashing of teeth after the loss to Clemson sad and funny...
That said, I'd have thought that a new OC was coming at the end of the 2011 season and especially after 1/9/12. When none came, I decided that he saw no issue with the product we put on the field in 2011.
I don't agree, and while I love smash mouth football I think he needs to turn over the offensive duties to a proven OC like he's done with the D and Chavis.
We can still win it all with what we have, but it makes it MUCH more difficult to do so. Why put your team at a disadvantage?
But no...if we didn't see a change after 1/1/12, then I don;t think we see one now unless Stud chooses to leave and he's forced to. even then, unless he brings in someone and gives them control the way he seems to have done with Chavis, I'm not sure it'll matter.

Only if his superiors grow some. He will need to be told to make changes. His performance review should be classified as "Not Meeting Expectations".

Besides us ranters, where is the pressure coming from?
Posted on 1/2/13 at 11:27 am to Bootycall
not at all
he will look at the game film, realize he was one short pass away from winning, and stay the same
