1. Take away lane for inside slant

2. If receiver shows a route different than inside slant, drop into coverage, by the time play develops, QB gets tackled.

3. 10 yard out route will have succes 3-4 times per game.

Ain't that the truth

There's no out route/hot route designed for the qb

Put 10 in the box and they will change the call to a run.

Put 8 men in the box - man on the WRs, safety over the top. At the snap, stunt the DLs and LBs to utterly confuse the OL, jam the WRs at the line, and sack the QB or force a quick, bad throw.

Every team we play against uses this same scheme against us.

Considering we run 90% of our plays, including pass plays, from the I with only 1 or 2 guys wide... Yeah.

Is anyone surprised that they stack the box against us all the time? It's obvious we aren't going to pass, and if we do, there's a pretty big chance the QB won't make the play.

Jam the receivers and play press coverage. Our WR ate not physical enough to get off line. Which is the biggest reason passing game sucked.

Simple put nine in the box as our passing game sucks! Qb has no time an when he does he is so shocked he over throws the receivers.
