It's not that he doesn't see the problem. It's the fact that he refuses to do anything about it. Complete bullshite that the athletic department stands for mediocrity.

Yep, Miles knows what the problem is, but is too stubborn to fix it. His ego will not allow him to admit to the fans (Or himself) that he made a mistake and needs to correct it.
Joe "10 wins is fine" Alleva is certainly not going to step in and make him take the patient to the emergency room either.
BTW, I'm in for the billboard, but only if it says something about hiring an OC, then getting the F out of the way and let the man do his job with out micro-managing.
