NO, no they were not.


Clemson has a lot of talent but they don't do nearly as much with it as they should (this sounds familiar). There's still no shame in losing to them, but the way LSU lost was pitiful. South Carolina took care of business against them with a backup QB and their best RB out, LSU sure should have been able to do so as well.

From watching the team this year, it seems the offense had a problem executing late in the games. The whole of the offense seem to get dysfunctional in the fourth quarter of most games. I do not know if they, as a whole, pressed too much or just got overwhelmed by circumstance. It is a heavy burden to know you Have to do plays as opposed to we are going to do some plays. Just a higher stress level. Do you think mentally the players did not handle the pressure well enough to make the plays they needed to keep drives going?
