You made meatloaf and cooked on the grill. Leave out the eggs and breadcrumbs and after making your patties refrigerate for at least an hour. They will hold together.
Brown on each side in a skillet then build a mushroom and onion gravy around them and serve open face on toast or with rice.

i recently had one where the patty was half beef and half sausage topped with a fried egg (pretty sure this was the ratio). it was very good and should be easy to copy.
