I always thought that Houma/Terrebonne Parish was very under-represented on LSU rosters across all sports. For a fairly populous area with a lot of high schools and kids who play sports, there's just not a lot of potential LSU players.

It's especially odd when you consider that just down the road, smaller Thibodaux has produced a fair number of division 1 players.

Houma may not be the greatest football talent spot in the world, but I do know it's produced some solid high school baseball players over the years, consistently. I've never understood why none of them seem to wind up at LSU.

If coach would have just put me in in the 4th qtr we would have won state. Yeah, then I would have got my scholarship lsu!!!!!!
