How much would a top talent at FreeSafety help this defense?

What Darren Sharper did for this defense and how he helped that young secondary in 2009 was impressive and fun to watch. If you look at all the top defenses in the league they all have a great free safety that keeps the last line of defense on lockdown. A field general if you will.
A lot of us thought Jenkins was gonna be that guy, but let's face it, free safety is just not his natural position. Move him back to the nickel position where he first started out and played really well his first two seasons if you remember.
No safety in the world will help Johnny Patrick look any better, but PRob, White, and Mack have all shown some sign of talent or ability to at least make adjustments and could really benefit from more help over the top.
I think getting a talented safety is one of the vital pieces to rebuilding this defense.
Are there any safeties in the draft that are considered a cant miss?

Jenkins is at FS right now. I agree looking for a ball-hawking FS and a better covering SS who can still lay the wood but why move Jenkins to just nickel? Let him play #2 corner with Greer at #1.

This.
And, I would throw a Brinks truck at Jarius Byrd this offseason.

We really need to draft a safety.

Just the opposite. Ive been hoping that Jenkins talent would help those around him play better. That's what a good free safety is supposed to do IMO.
He needs to be moved back to nickel.
