I predict in the New Year that Jimmy Herring will continue to murder Michael Houser's life work.

Not sure if any of you Panic fans care, but Phish played a "golf set" for their third set. They had turf down on the floor of MSG and on stage with plants, etc. They had people come out and hit plastic golf balls into the crowd during setbreaks. The band did it after the second one.

Anyway, the link below is what started the third set, but after the songs in the link they played...

Sand
The Wedge
Fly Like an Eagle
Wilson
Lawn Boy
Driver
Iron Man

I don't want to be the one to tell you what to like or not, but if Widespread Panic is your favorite band and you like Jimmy more than Mikey, than you are pretty confused.

Why? His style is different but I enjoy his jams more. He uses more notes and at a much faster pace but I have gotten used to it and I prefer him now.

It's just kind of like saying that you like Warren Haynes more than Duane Allman playing in ABB.

One guy playing another guys songs. Let's get real, 95% of the stuff they've put out since Houser died is shite and they know it. They don't even play most of it.

But, you know, that's just my opinion I guess.

Duane Allman is a little different than Mikey no offense to him tho. I do agree that most of the songs they have put out since his death are not even close to as good but I like a lot of Jimmy's versions of Mikey's songs more. I just like his style and jams more. I'm not taking away from Mikey being the creative mind behind all of those songs I'm just saying I personally like Jimmy more.
