LSU will win, but it won't be by 5 TDs. TCU's defense just played pretty much the same offense that LSU runs and gave up 10 points. The other TD was set up by a muffed punt at the 4. I'll say LSU 24-10.

Yeah, we all know what you think of the offense.
Statistics speak for themselves.

This team will be back to the team we saw last year to open the season with the Ducks. They will not frick around with TCU.
Hopefully so. I am positive LSU wins, but not in a big way. Probably 24-13 or something like that. TCU will have a legit, and experienced defense. Their offense has a long way to go though.

Yea, how often do we beat ANYBODY by 5 touchdowns? Especially D1 schools from BCS conferences. It will be a good game. TCU is very young. Although we will go into the game with big advantage at QB. Just force Boykin to pass under pressure.
TCU gets the whole team back. They are always very good on defense. I think we win but not 5 TD's. The only team we beat by 5 TD's this season was Idaho.
We beat Washington (a D1 school from a BCS conference) 41-3 this year which is > 5 touchdowns.
and we beat quite a few teams last year (pretty much everyone besides Oregon\mississippi state\Alabama) by at least 30 points. Seems pretty plausible if you ask me

Not yet, but soon.
eta: I'm mainly upset at spotting them 14.

Could be close.
TCU played like 16 freshman this season (one of youngest teams in the country), and they lost their QB. Their defense is always solid. LSU wins but I'm not sure they even score 5 touchdowns. 20-14

Nah, man.
TCU is a young team, much like LSU; they and Texas were the only two schools in the country to play more true freshman than LSU. Many times this season, their inexperience showed, as it did again last night. On three different occasions this year, their punt returner muffed a kick deep in his own territory - each of which led to the go-ahead score by the opponent.
TCU plays stout defense, and it will be tough to move the ball consistently against them; I'm not as much worried about their offense, unless Pachall is reinstated in the spring. Without him back there, they were pretty anemic on offense (especially with Boykin at the helm).
It will be a tough game, especially playing in their backyard.

The game in Dallas will be awful. LSU by 5 TDs.
TCU is only losing a few starters. Don't kid yourself, they will be better next year.

No one in this board seems to want to remember the Washington game.

I don't want to hear about TCU's "stout" defense. They have never faced a power run game like LSU will hit them with, and Mett has shown nice development over the second half of the season, which I expect will continue.
Don't forget that they play in the Big 12, and aTm would have run away with that conference this year.
Tigers roll big.

Yeah LSU is the only good team in the country, and they go 12-0 every season.

Yeah, I really made that claim.
Tell me about all the great running teams and great defenses in the big 12. . .

TCU gave up just over 22 points per game to the #1 offensive conference in the land.
TCU was #18 in total defense.
Versus top 20 defenses LSU scored
Bama 17
Florida 6
S Carolina 23
That's 15 points per game that mighty run game racked up on top defenses.

Any LSU fan who truly expects an LSU blowout clearly doesn't follow college football closely. Now if there IS a blowout..I'm gonna assume there was a lot of turnovers involved.
TCU plays a great defensive scheme...with very few players out of position. They will have spring and summer to prepare solely for LSU. It's gonna be a dogfight

Washington was even more inexperienced than TCU was this year

I guess you have never heard of Montee Ball and Wisconsin or CJ Spiller and Clemson then. Michigan State also had a decent running game this season.
