kind of a stupid bar considering the Big 10 and SEC pretty much have a monopoly on most of the Jan 1+ games.
The Big 12 only has access in up to 4 bowls that happen Jan 1 - Jan 7. 3 of those are via contracts.
Meanwhile the SEC has access in up to 7 games with 6 guaranteed due to contracts and the Big 10 has access to 5 with 4 guaranteed.
