Do you think Taylor Swift actually writes her own music?

She probably comes up with the key phrases of most songs. Maybe the chorus and first verse. Maybe just a title. I'm sure she has professional songwriters to help her flesh out the final lyrics.
As far as the music goes, she probably has a general idea for the melody or "hook", and, once again, has professionals to help her finish it.
So although she legitimately (IMHO) may "write" her own music, she doesn't do it in the sense that Prince writes his music (all parts, all instruments, melodies, harmonies, etc. etc.).
I think she's a legit singer/songwriter. Whether you like or dislike her product is a matter of opinion.
I'm sure she's more legit than Bieber.

I think it's all bullshite that people somehow buy. I'm sure her new album is good, if you're into that type of thing, but I think this whole idea that she writes her own music is improbable.

Most country artists don't write their own music. Look at Tim McGraw and George Straight. Alan Jackson made a living off doing covers. And I enjoy all three of them.
