Miles is as good as the coaches he hires especially the defensive coaches. Chavis gets 100% of the credit and criticism for the defense. Miles is definitely a players coach and on occasion there have been some disciplinary issues. Honestly I don't really care about Miles and how good a family man he is. That's his personal life and of no concern to me. His privacy should be respected. He gets paid to win championships.

Miles is a very good coach. Dude is as sharp as they come.

I care to the extent that it shows he is less likely to be in trouble himself aka Petrino or a few others.

Among many other things. He gets paid to do what his contract specifies, which includes things like revenue, bowl appearances, player graduation rates (yes, that's in there), so on and so forth.

You don't think his family values, his integrity and the feeling of family he instills in his recruits and players are huge for this program?
