Nice little Saturday, actually.

I've never really even had a buzz. I may need some intervention.

SBD back home is a Sixpoint Resin. I've enjoyed the hell out of this one in the past, but this can isn't doing it for me. Drink by date is April, so it's not old.

I didn't think it was anything special when I've tried it. Good beer, no doubt, but definitely not in the elite class.

I agree. Nice change of pace though from the usual rotation.

Rouge has been known to comfort men for a rare enough beer.

It is very carbonated for sure. I like it, but it is not in my rotation.

I'm posting today to give beerthanks to Rouge. I live in Chicago, and he met me in Louisiana over the holidays for a trade and gave me a ton of new beer, including these three. If you have a chance to trade with Rouge (or even just to buy him a beer), do it--he's good beer people.

Just met up with Rouge in the parking lot of Chick-fil-a for a pleasant exchange of beer and words. One of the beers you gave him was involved.

Had a few beers tonight at my parents' house. We got a nice bonfire going.

FBD - bomber of New Glarus Raspberry Tart
SBD - St. Bernardus Abt 12
TBD - Surly Furious

Also, Berry Chantilly cake from Whole Foods. So good.

Like Kim said earlier, we've discovered so many world-class beers in recent times that our palates have become somewhat spoiled.

I'm a big fan of fire. Can't get enough in this weather. Been snatching wood anytime a limb blows down on the golf course

Ooh, 4BD is Lakewood The Temptress. (Of course, Rouge-provided, may he continue to keep and bless us all.) Behind Endeavour, but neck and neck with Real Ale Black Quad near the top of the heap of my LA/TX haul. Keep up the good work, southern brewers.
