All I said was that he has tons of talent to rival RG3.
Never said he'd reach it, likely won't, but he has the talent.
Glad the Raiders are giving him a shot, hope they let him air it out and not run some conservative pussy offense, see what he's learned/developed.

quote:I wouldn't go that far, but I do agree that he has talent. I just view him as a talented "athlete" at the NFL level. I think he could do a lot of things as an athlete but never anything special as a quarterback unless they fitted him into a run-based offense like Tim Tebow in 2011. RGIII is a scary good as a passer, which is Terrelle Pryor's weakness.

The dude got high all the time. I can tell you that much from first hand experience.
70% of the players on CFB teams smoke weed. #Trust

I highly doubt he would/will reach RGIII's level, or Cam Newton's for that matter.
He's a dual threat in running the ball and a pretty damn good runner, but his passing is suspect at best. And he plays for the Raiders so that increases his chances at failing pretty convincingly. He was an "OK" passer at the college level, and I just can't see him turning into anything special at the NFL level. He'll probably be a serviceable quarterback and nothing more
Yea those guys are just more naturally talented passers/throwers than TP.
Although, I do think that if he went to Oregon instead of OSU he could have been as good a college player. (Well not as good..but still much better than his OSU career)

Completed under 50% of his passes. Did have a couple drops...but some TERRIBLE misses. Im talking wide open guys. Also had a costly int.
Still had almost 200 yards in total offense and 3 tds.
