Still can't believe I bowl committee was in a hurry to invite Ohio and Monroe

That committee is made up of a bunch of people with no athletic background and is just bankers and ins. salesmen trying to network. They could've waited until 2 hours before the game to invite Monroe and they still would've come. What the hell was the hurry to invite them on Thursday. And Ohio who lost 4 of their last 5 games? They rushed to get 2 teams that no one else was going to take.

Very true. Two weeks before, Tech had the Orange Bowl officials at their game. They thought they were in for the Liberty bowl, but N. Ill winning screwed that up. I still think it's funny they invited a team, 4 days before invites had to go out, that no one else was going to take.
The head of the I bowl is a girl that I used to hear call into a call in show and every sentence started with, "My husband says..."

Is the Indy bowl not sold out? I'm just wondering how they are gonna eat this so called "mistake" because from everything I've heard or read recently, it seems to be working for all parties involved and Tech still looks stupid
