my buddy was laughing his arse off when I showed up for a coyote hunt with a Mak-90. i put a 5 rd mag in it. the longest view we have where we hunt is 120 yards.
Picked up a foxpro spitfire monday, so this weekend a coyote is gauranteed to taste my commie fury.

I've got a 5rd mag for mine as well as the 30rd nanners. I still wouldn't hunt anthing with it except looters though. Fun as hell to plink with, reasonably accurate and will go bang 100% of the time.

That's an AMD 65, a $450 gun three weeks ago. I was pinching pennies to get one then the price blew up.

Were they that cheap 3 weeks ago? I remember them being in the $550 range when I was looking a couple weeks ago

I have an amd65 and it is my favorite ak out of the 5 that I have. Its very accurate, loud, and can be shot with the stock folded. I love it. I used to think it was ugly before I bought it, I just wanted something different, but once you get it and hold it you realize it is badass. If I were in a life and death situation, that is the gun I would grab out of the 20 something guns I have.

I find that pretty much everyone who owns both ARs and AKs, they would choose the AK when it really mattered.

I was thinking about building one of those in the future. I really didn't have a reason other than it was cool. Does it serve any purpose other than shooting at the range? How much you want for it?

yeah pretty much just fun to blast. Its ridiculously loud. Its like a concussion grenade going off every time you shoot.
as far as price, I really dont know. Id have to see what the are going for now.
