If him being in my house in the middle of the night, startling me from a deep slumber, I inadvertently forget to yell freeze, yes I may bend the truth in that instance. I'm not ruining my life for some piece of shite in my house. I'm not trying to kill folks, but if they are already inside my house, chances are there won't be much time for small talk.
