He's trolling or basing it on illegitimate MNC, aka Popularity Contest. The bottom line is LSU and Bama have the same number of SEC titles since Saban has been at Bama. This is especially impressive if you consider Bama never plays Florida, Georgie, or USCe from the other side of the conference. Also, if LSU and Bama both win their bowl games, LSU is 35-5 the past 3 years and Bama would be 36-5. If you consider Bama should have never had a chance to get a rematch, then LSU at 36-4 >= Bama at 36-5.

You cannot define a program on a popularity contest and no playoff. The National Champ in CFB is NEVER played out on the field and is a glorified opinion poll.

Both are great programs; one just gets favorable treatment; from illegitmate rematches, to never holding, to soft conference scheduling. Bama is also may be perceived a better program only because the media shoves them down your throat. Educated people realize the truth stated above.

I also don't believe Crutchfield is steering anyone and from what I've read is being as fair as possible to LSU.
