The NFL would prefer to turn a blind eye on a young Black QB that meets their desire to promote and appear diverse and tolerant.

If you watch SoundFX from week 16, Cam says somethings not needed for TV to the ref. It is all beeped out and he definitely kicks the OAK player. He quickly apologizes to the ref on the field after the game and then again multiple times in the post game press conference. I do not like Newton mainly because he plays for the Panthers, but he handled the situation correctly afterwards. He just needs to mature a lot as a person and player to know that you dont do either of the things he did in that 30 second span.

This is exactly CORRECT! FACT: The media will never talk "negative" regarding Vick, RG3 or odumass for that matter, no matter how bad they play on or off the field.
