I don't know what the hell Johnny Patirck was doing on that TD by Miles Austin on fourth down. You talk about a lack of awareness..that was awful. There wasn't a sense of urgency there on his part. Frustrating.

1st pick: OLB
Tough choice considering where we'll be picking. I really can't think of any OLBs that fit that would be worth it. CJ Mosley is staying at Bama, and Jarvis Jones will be off of the board. Maybe Alec Ogletree?

2nd pick: OT
Eric Fisher or DJ Fluker

David Amerson if he's still on the board

Tony Jefferson may still be on the board.

Lavar Edwards or Damion Square

Payton needs to really look at all the Defensive coaches.....Need to make a few trades to get more draft picks...Sorry, but I think Robinson and Harper are VERY weak links in the secondary....

I wonder how many changes we will see with this defense. Spags isn't going anywhere, he's a good coach who didn't have the best talent to work with. I hate to say that about the players, but they just haven't been very good the last few years. They have brief moments where you think they are starting to get it and then boom, a two touchdown lead is erased just like that. Yeah, things will be better next year with Payton back but our D has to be more consistent. I guess it is hard to do though when your changing defensive coordinators every three years. Gibbs,Williams, and now Spags. And Spags runs the most complicated system out of all the others. We do need to make changes, I'm just wondering how many we can afford.

Spags came in a lil late, but I'm sure he will get some coaches of his like to fit his system. This past year was all screwed up. I'm hoping Saints get a DE like Montegomery or the kid from Oregon who can play both DE and OLB. I say we either cut or trade Will Smith and Roman Harper unless u move Harper to OLB. Too over paid. I tend to believe there will be a lot of changes on both sides the ball.

I do think we see a few coaching changes this offseason. Secondary, special teams, maybe new offensive line (though with our injuries, might not happen)... However I still think our major problem is the defense not knowing how to Persue the ball carrier. We always over run or allow cutbacks from not taking the right angle. Some of it is high school fundamentals. We need a new special teams coach to light the fire in our kick coverage. Even if we need to sign 10 undrafted free agents who just wants to run down and skull f**k someone. We have no emotion, and it shows everytime we don't get touchback and forced to go tackle. Seems like an inconvience to our players.
