Kennedy is so awful. I don't care who tries to defend him. No emotion. I go to games. Coach Cyprien is the head coach, and no big school would ever hire him to fill that role.

You don't go from being the coach of a 1-bid league team to the coach of a school in a major conference.
Watkins was successful at UNC-Charlotte. Epic fail at A&M.
Gillispie turned around UTEP (in the WAC at the time - WAC was a mid-major back then). Success at A&M.
Turgeon took Wichita State to the Sweet 16 (Missouri Valley is a mid-major). Couldn't duplicate that success at A&M, but made the tournament all four years he was there, making the round of 32 in 3/4 of those tournaments.
Kennedy was a success at Murray State (Ohio Valley is a 1-bid league). Single-handedly undone all of the success of the Gillispie and Turgeon years.

Just because A&M's a scrub program doesn't mean nobody can come from a 1 bid league and be successful.
