The fact that the 2011 season was statistically good overall is why many are so upset about the way that we finished the season and never went back to what was successful earlier.

The Patriots didn't bench their top rated QB and change their entire offensive philosophy mid-season and show signs of major offensive problems in the games leading up to the Superbowl.
