I was watching mlb tonight and Mitch Williams suggested the Astros sign grady sizemore and jier jurgens(or however you spell it)and i think if both of those guys are healthy the could help the stros alot.What say you guys

No one of impact. This rebuilding project is still 5 years away, literally.

Doesn't make sense to sign these guys under our current rebuilding plan.
Phase 1 (first 5 years): Get rid of the riff raff and anyone who makes more than $400 per year. Garner high draft picks and cross your fingers. Accept 100 loss seasons for entire 5 year phase.
Phase 2: (next 5 years): Develop at least three quality major league players and expect at least 85-95 losses per season. Fire your manager during this phase to show the fans you mean bidness.
Phase 3: Repeat phase I
