Yep a few of us have and all agree the single barrle is better. Unk didn't want to like it better than the cheaper alternative but he couldn't resist. I still drink both...just depends what I'm buying that day.

I think the EHT lineup is about as solid as it gets for easy to find resonantly priced variations. Good for someone looking to branch out. As you have seen the difference between a small batch and single barrle. There rye is a very palatable rye for someone who wants to try a rye. And there barrle proof is top notch.

I agree with you on the barrel proof. I have a bottle and it is quite good.

The only true rye I have on hand is the Willet 6yr barrel proof rye. It is good but not earth shattering. I had a buddy pick up a bottle of this years Whistle Pig Boss Hog. He gave me a sample and it was excellent. It is the best rye (in my very limited exposure) that I've had. I don't know if I'd be willing to pay the asking price for it, but it was certainly good.
