re: Whiskey/Bourbon/Scotch appreciation thread

Just want to say thanks to you guys for some of the recommendations and answering some of my dumb questions.

I have never been a fan of beers like most of my friends so I've always stuck to crown and coke and I think that's mainly b/c that's all my dad has ever drank.

Since I've stumbled upon this thread I have gotten a little more educated on the wonderful choices available that I just always passed over..

In the past couple months I've branched out and acquired bottles of Blanton's, Eagle Rare, Makers 46 & Basil Hayden..

The Eagle Rare was the newest acquisition and at 23 buck its probably the best I've tasted a that price point..
