We did the Bourbon Trail trip last month. It was awesome. I would definitely go back. We went to:
Makers
Woodford
Jim Beam
Willett
Buffalo Trace
Four Roses
Wild Turkey

Beam and BT were probably my favorite tours. Only mistake is that we didn't do the BT hard hat tour. Need to do that one day. Wild Turkeys tour sucked.

I did a few distilleries a few years ago. I guess 3. Makers was by far my favorite tour, but definitely not my best tasting. They did the most in terms of presentation, but obviously that's not the deciding factor. I did enjoy the White Dog, however. It was delicious. Incredibly flavorful, but odd flavors. Almost got some chocolate notes out of it. I'd love to do it again at this point when I've tasted a little more. I bought a bottle, but it went pretty quickly.

Anyway, we did Makers, Buffalo Trace, and Four Roses. Buffalo Trace was my least favorite. I loved walking through BT and enjoying the aroma, but what they actually had available to taste was pretty piss poor.

Congratulations on the milestone, fellas. I check in on your thread every couple of days and see what's being consumed. I'm always jealous. I'd love to hunt out the good stuff like y'all do. My palate and budget (and my beer budget, oops) keep me pretty locked in to what I do. That being said, if you have a budget rye suggestion I'd take it. I do enjoy a good rye.

Screw you. You don't need me to share my Bourbon County. I see that barleywine back there. I'm gonna share it with zealot and Wise. I have other stuff to share with you
