This is college football. Nobody has a proven QB outside of its starter. That is a ridiculous point. LSU has very highly recruited QBs slated for the next 4 years.

ok, the op said we are set at QB for the future and I was refuting it. Seems like your just wanting to argue with someone.

Ole Miss is pretty much at its pinnacle

so Freeze took a back to back 2 win program and won 6 games and returns prolly %90 of the starters and he's reached his pinnacle? You sounds like you know a lot about football.

To think that they are a significant threat to LSU, assuming LSU is somewhere near its potential is laughable.

I didnt say this but like I said, it sounds like you're just wanting to argue.

Freeze is more willing to throw than Miles has been. Mett had 2400 yards this year and a no name, nobody QB named bo wallace who joined a 2 win team had 2800 this year.

RR had prolly one of the best receiving years at LSU under Miles with 900 yards. Moncrief had 900 in Freeze's first year with a no name QB and a program that was about to flat line.

nice try though big guy

With QBs that were worse than Wallace. RR might have gotten 1,000 if he didn't quit on 1/9.

The OP was right. I'd say LSU is probably in the top 10 of QB talent (including this class) when looking toward the future.

Ole Miss is going to be, at best, a mid tier SEC West school. To think that Ole Miss has potential to go further is ignorant. In the long run, Arkansas, LSU, Alabama, and Texas A&M, and Auburn are all going to outperform Ole Miss consistently. In the short run, all of them except maybe Auburn will outperform them, and Mississippi State will be very competitive.

Ok. So, if you are making the case that LSU isn't a high powered passing attack that would make sense. But, that's not what you said. You said that if you were an out of state WR, you wouldn't look at LSU as compared to Ole Miss. That's an entirely different statement.

You are one of those guys whose opinion is easily swayed by singular events (such as a 6 win Ole Miss season). In truth, Ole Miss is not on the same planet as LSU, and as it relates to this argumetn, WR recruits will consistently choose LSU over Ole Miss.

In short, your analysis is very shortsighted and wrong.
