I can't believe they actually showed that many people casting their votes. They could have edited that scene better.

They were sending messages though. I don't really see how it's a flub. It'd be a flub if they said "call" someone and no form of communication was invented yet and they had to carry a message on horseback.

lol. The definition of "call" isn't limited to using a phone to speak to someone. It just means "go get them" or "go speak with." For example phrases like "gentleman caller" or "he called for a meeting."


On topic, I thought the movie was very good, but I knew it was a movie about the 13th amendment passage. And considering it was a movie about the passing of legislation it was fantastic!
