Yes

I got an offer to go trap 10k acres. I may start this time home because they want the coyotes gone. Said they were overran by them.

From what knowledge I do have, I wouldn't lump all three together. offshore can correct me here but I've always heard how yotes are hard to catch. I'm thinking about trying with snares.

The bobcat actually pulled up the stake and got hung in some grass he put a 22 round in his ear hole from about 12 yards. We weren't sure what was holding him and the cat was mad but I let him take the shot anyway. The yote he just walked up behind that gate and put the barrel to it. The opossum I have taught him to just tap the head a couple times they play dead. Release them and drag them off.

They are not hard once you figure them out. The first one is always the hardest. It's repetitious doing the same thing every set will catch a lot of coyotes. The long liners in Kansas and other states will make a 100 sets almost all the same.

I use a flat set with gland lure and I may not catch every coyote on the place but I will damn sure put a dent in their population.

Believe it or not I have more trouble out of Gray fox than anything. I think I need to go back to the way I used to trap them when I didn't try to get so fancy.

I have no idea how this line stuff works. But the pictures look good

This thread is serving the sole purpose of not talking about ar's or ak's

I have the same problem sometimes but it all stems to trap placement. I get so in tune to yotes that I find myself bedding the traps too far from the bait. I ease the trap in a little closer and it normally goes better.

A couple of pics from this morning. 1 cat, 1 coyote, 1 box turtle, and a couple grinners. The turtle was in a live trap set for coon, eating sardines. He was let go.

MY father snares yotes and sells them. Makes for some nice pocket change.

I'm with crankbait. I loved Offshore's thread and I'm loving this one already.

MO PICS PLZ! I really look forward to hearing how you're doing on these.

They aren't prime yet. I just let my son trap when he is out of school. He can get a little pocket change and stay outside. Its a win win. He doesn't have enough arse to set the traps yet but that is all I do for him. He picks out the spots and decides what kind of set and beds them. After he goes back to school I will start back hard and heavy.

One of these days when I kill him a good bobcat I'm going to mount it with another animal in its mouth.

Saw a huge one with the spotlight on the banks of the Atcgafalya on the way to the blind on Saturday mornin.
