So On a cold December night Ranger's Drew just under 45k for a match against Annan Athletic...I'll excuse evryone on the board for never havefrickingheard of Annan...meanwhile Celtic is not doing so well in average SPL attendance...this is from a Tim's site I peruse occasionally

"Celtic Football Club Home Game Attendance, Is there a Problem?"
I'm sure I'm not the only Celtic fan that has thought about this but the recent stat that Sevco had 46,015 (91% of Ibrox) in a 3rd Division match against Elgin last sunday compared to our lesser crowd of 45,876 (75% of Celtic Park) for a SPL game against Hibs the day previously was extremely disappointing. This has been on my mind since the utterly pathetic attendance for flag day against Aberdeen.

I am concerned and it does suggest that a significant proportion of our fanbase truly do need a form of huns around in order for them to sustain an interest in supporting our club on a regular basis, as they did a mere 2-3 years ago. Also the argument about the weak British economy doesn't really excuse the falling crowds as the attendances during Gordon Strachan's last season in 2008/09 - Which was arguably the worst period of recession after the financial collapse of the global banking system

but but antecedence is up in the SPL and its so much better with out DeadCo, the novelty of not having Rangers in the SPL has worn off, These clubs need Rangers away support to fill their seats.

Yay, a bunch of deluded bastards showed up to wave orange flags and sing about how Peter Lawwel and Opus Dei punished their poor, bigoted club while talking about how they, the stupid hordes, are "ra peepil." At some point, the ones with more than a semi-working brain will wise up and realize that they don't actually like watching their club struggle to beat part-timers.

In conclusion:

My Scottish friend Paul is a huge fan of Queen's Park, which currently play in the 3rd division. He's loving it. Got tickets for the Rangers game and everything.

Man, I bet you've been sitting on that picture, just waiting to throw it in a godawful Celtic-Rangers argument.

Doesn't fit into the current argument? Doesn't matter! Post that picture!

Your hatred knows no bounds.

Still, I bet you were waiting to throw that into a Rangers thread. Doesn't have a thing to do with attendance, which is what this thread is all about...

They paid for it. If they were getting a lot of ticket sales one would assume that they could buy something a bit bigger than that.

Lol wut

They're getting more attendance in the 3rd division than Celtic, and yet you resort to making fun of the size of a plaque/paperweight they got. That's pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, it's an awkward freaking photograph, but what does it have to do with attendance?
