6 months, torn acl. Unless holger is actually Adrian Peterson then his season is done, which is very unfortunate for him. Possibly but CB cover is only needed for 2 games and I think it is wasteful to buy a CB for that alone. Especially when you consider the limited amount of CB capable of playing for them and then even more than that they have to be CL eligible. There is a kid Jan Kirchoff playing in the 2bundesliga right now who is regarded as a CB prospect that might would be brought in now instead of the summer bc he can play in CL. He's young though, plus bayern has a youth named Daniel Wein who I wouldn't mind seeing help with fixture congestion, obviously I'm not trotting him out against Madrid, but you get the picture

Well it'll certainly make things more interesting now for Bayern. Before I would have expected a steamroll through the early knockouts. Now anyone has a chance.

I just don't think the Italian league is very good this year and when I've watched Juve, i just haven't been amazed.
What's missing in Serie A is one other club that's right at Juve's level right now. However, that may be the case in a slightly lesser degree with all the league leaders so far this year: Man City -- obviously strong but not nearly playing as well as last year so far, Real Madrid -- similar to City, Dortmund -- looked like world beaters in CL matches but haven't had near the success as Bayern domestically). However, Serie A is a lot stronger this year than last with Fiorentina and Roma coming on and Lazio, Inter and Napoli improved. Only Milan isn't quite as good as last year but have been improving steadily with all the new faces. Spots 2-7 in the Serie A table stack up pretty well, after probably La Liga, against the EPL or any league.
