Is Footloose the worst remake ever?

I'm trying to watch it on Netflix since I know some of the areas it was filmed in and it's God awful. I had to turn it off after the High School Musical scene. Are there any worse remakes out there or is Footloose the worst one?

Off topic as far as remakes but I know parts of it were filmed in Coweta and Heard County. Also didn't know till I watched it the other night but Lawless was filmed in parts of Coweta and Meriwether Counties also.

The first one was pretty cheesy, no way I'm going to watch the remake.
Never saw the remake of When a Stranger Calls because the original one from the late 70s/early 80s scared the living crap out of me. I want it to stay that way. The first 15 min of the original freaked me the hell out.
The remake of Fright Night was decent, still like the original better. Never saw the remake of Total Recall because I like the original.
All I can think of.

The remake actually got better reviews on RT than the original did. The remake is 70% fresh while the original is 55% rotten.

I watched this on a plane for free. I actually didn't think it sucked. But I usually react favorably to plane ride movies because I'm so grateful they even exist.

I couldn't even watch it all the way through either. I don't even know why they tried because the original is really good and holds up well to time. Kevin Bacon rocks!
