My league manager brought up a vote to change from a 6 team playoff(top 2 teams have a bye) to an 8 team playoff. The vote TIED and he made the change to an 8 team playoff with his decision as the tiebreaker.

Since then , i clinched the top spot of my division then proceeded to lose to one of the teams that was added to the playoffs. This is a 12 team league, btw.

Now, did I get totally fricked over or what? Has this happened to anyone else.

I would not pay if I hadn't already paid. I definitely won't be playing in their league next year. Changing the rules that big at the end of the season is fricking bushleague.

What is the buy in? What was your total score? Would you have beaten the team you would have played in a 6 team?

sounds like BS

stuff like this should be determined before league play not during it

and i cant stand 8 teams making the playoffs

this stuff happened in one of my leagues

was top 4 then the week before playoffs, the commish expands to 8 teams without even taking a vote

it was done because he was not in the top 4

safe to say, i dont think people will pay now

Yeah, that's BS! Odds are he's been talking behind the scenes with one of the team owners and felt he needed to help them make the playoffs. Especially with a horrible record.

That's crap...especially since the vote TIED! no change should have been made.
