I emailed John Kincaid of 680 The Fan in Atlanta last fall if he thought LSU was a destination program. He basically replied (in an arrogant way, of course) that LSU isn't a destination program, never was and never will be.

Facilities may be lacking but the recruiting and tradition is top notch. Seems easy to recruit there similar to Miami. Players just want to be there regardless of facilities and Southern California is fertile recruiting anyway.

I haven't been inside the stadium, but I have walked around their campus on a gameday. I wasn't a fan. It's not ugly, but it's not the prettiest campus I've ever been to either.
