DJ would be awesome.

Because he's from New Orleans? It sure wouldn't be because he's play well. He's shitty in Indy, and would likely be even shittier here. The guy just lost his backup job to Ben Hansbrough....

We need to trade for Eric Bledsoe while his value is "low".
No way in hell the Clippers would trade Bledsoe. Besides being the spark plug of the 2nd unit, which is playing great right now, Bledsoe is our starting PG next year if Chris Paul signs elsewhere as a FA.

Which is why they'll trade him. Many people felt the same way about Darren Collison being necessary CP3 insurance and he was the first guy moved. Teams go into Win Now mode to keep their stars. Vinny's on the hot seat and they didn't hire a replacement to Olshey, they promoted from within. Next year is not the primary concern of the Clippers, right now is.

LA, what do the Clippers need more than what Bledsoe gives them? A better SF? A better Center? Bledsoe will get traded if an asset that can get the team a round futher in the playoffs becomes available.

Who are you, the Amazing Kreskin?

If so, I need some help with the future of the stock market. What do you recommend?

They'e getting good production by committee at the SF postion. Caron Butler and Matt Barnes are solid right now. And Grant Hill should be with the team in January.

As for the C position, they couldn't get a better C than DeAndre Jordan in return for Bledsoe. Jordan has developed nicely. IMO Bledose is more valuable to the team, both now and next year, than anything they could get in return for him. Unless of course some team just decides to get stupid.

This doesn't make any sense.

What about something like DeAndre Jordan and Bledsoe for Varejao? I don't think the Cavs need Bledsoe so maybe another team like the Hornets would need to get involved, but that seems like the foundation of a win win trade.

That the Clippers are in Win Now mode and Bledsoe is one of their better trade assets?

Surely you're not arguing that the Hornets are a better team than the Clippers right now. Are you?

Well I guess they should play each other to see who the better team is.
