really never imagined I'd have to form an opinion on collar vs collarless dogs, but my parent's place in south MS is currently experiencing a severe infestation of the neighbor's dogs. I'm leaning toward the shoot 'em side of things so far

PS- thanks for the welcome!

How about your thoughts on the 243?

thats why i got the 2-7x35. at 2x power, it functions very much like a red dot sight, and is amazing on piggies and fast moving targets at closer ranges...at 7x with the drop down reticle, it's amazingly accurate out to 400 yds (using a lead sled)

as long as it's the .243-08 model i've read so much about!!!! I do own a .243, but it's strictly a coyote killer. deer die by the hands of my 7mm (not trying to open that can of worms tonight)

we might as well...if we try to settle peaceably, we will be the target of any and all investigations into the disappearance of said dogs. I recommended a 4 ft fence, my old man was thinking of buying claymore mines...but him being a vietnam vet, he's into overkill/scorched earth theory when confronting an enemy...even if its just rabbit dogs

OG- I'm begging my wife to let me buy 2 of those. Apparently, in the mysterious female mind, there is no reason to buy a 4 year old boy and a 2 year old boy matching MP-22s. I seriously don't understand women.

She'll get one it. Go ahead and buy 3. One for each I the boy and one for yourself. If you work with KR, money shouldn't be an issue.
