Lewis also won a gold medal in the Olympics. Beat up Riddick Bowe in Seoul for the gold. That has to count for something

LL might not be top5 in popularity contests, but I have no doubt in my mind he'd beat Ali, Marciano, Dempsey, Johnson, etc 6+ times out of 10

He is easily top5 HW as far as a boxer goes

All this talk makes me think about the old boxers my dad used to talk about. Doubt we'll ever see the return of a truely "great" heavyweight now with ufc being a popular avenue. I guess we'll have to stick to old hbo reruns and boxing documentaries.
