I'd probably get a super Vinci if it was me. I'd get whatever of the 3 B's you like best

This is my answer. I have dropped expensive guns in the water and don't hunt with them anymore. You need a gun that you can lose in the mud or use as a push pole if you need to. 870 is cheap and very reliable

The New Browing A5 Humpback You need this gun. I have a SBE, and it's been a great gun, but to me, the "Humpback" is the best pointing shotgun out there. It just aligns your eyes perfectly when you throw it on your shoulder. It's an inertia gun too, so it functions just like the SBE/SBEII You're welcome. I hate you.

My answer too! A gun you can put up wet and muddy and a week later still go hunting with it. Do that with a $1200 gun.

I shot mine for two duck seasons, and really liked it, but then it started having issues striking the primer fully so I started using a newer 870. It has feed issues constantly and I'm very dis-satisfied with it. I'm eventually going to get a nice shotgun when I can afford it.

Mine had an issue once a couple of weeks ago. Only misfed once, never happened again. It doesn't shoot 3.5" sheels if the shell is bulging. But if you saw my X2 and BPS after that weekend, you'd understand why I'm sticking with it.

I shoot a Vinci, had an SBEII, and SBE before the Vinci. That said, a buddy in my club got the new A5. I shot it this weekend, it is bad ass. It will be my next shotgun! Its a humpback Bennelli without the big arse trigger guard.

bought my son an ultra mag a few yrs back and it would shoot then get stuck. Wouldn't eject shells. Took it down, cleaned and lubed (it really wasnt dirty) and it still done it. Took it to a cop buddy who is also a Glock Armorer and he polished a few parts. Works good now

I've had it happen to me several times. I shoot kent 3" shells and there have been multiple instances where I've only been able to shoot twice because of it failing to feed properly.

I'm about to replace my 10 year old Browning Gold, not because it NEEDS to be replaced, but because I'm itching to buy a new gun. I've narrowed it down to the A-5, Maxus, and the Xtrema2. I just don't like the way the Benellis shoulder. I'll probably go with the Maxus, but damn it if on the way out of the store I picked up a S&W 1911 just like Bapple's and it felt...so good...

I haven't shot one yet, but got to mess around with one at Bass Proshops. It will be my next gun too. My observations: The Walnut Stock that I messed with was significantly lighter than my synthetic SBE. When you shoulder it, it just looks perfect. I hope the OP goes find one before making a purchase. It's definitely worth checking out.

I'm on my second case of kents on the season now, I'll probably just buy estates if I have to buy another case.

I have had my Maxus for over two years and love it. Fits me great and I like the low recoil. Of course, like everything, each person has their own opinion and are usually biased on what they currently own. I have shot many SBE's and think that is one super fine weapon. I just like the lightweight feel of the Maxus.
