I think losing D-west was a very under-rated loss. D-west was often a more consistent scorer than CP3 at times, he steady shot over 50% from the field, would bang aroudn down low and pull down boards, would drop around 20 a game, and always showed up for big games him and Davis woulda been a nice combo at the 4 and 5 spots.

No reason to this post really except fro the fact that i notived D-west was having a very nice year, and with no Eric Gordon we have no go to scorer right now.

He was a good leader too. Lead by example and motivated the squad. There was word of him getting in CP3's face when he was tanking in 10-11.

Great player, but it was time for him to go. No Defense, No Rebounding, Strictly a scorer. My patience was wearing thin with him.

With that being said, he's been playing pretty damn well the last few games for Indy, including rebounding.

The team needed to rebuild. Keeping DWest would have meant not getting Anthony Davis.

Given the circumstances, he had to go. But he definitely was a great Hornet.
