Of course we haven't vaulted over LSU as a program. But we have vaulted over them as first choice for high end Texas recruits that want to play in the SEC.

We are getting recruits we wouldn't before. That hurts somebody. I'm not sure who though. So far, signs are pointing to OU and Texas. LSU is fine and will continue to be fine as long as Les is at the helm. He's a great coach and a good guy that I personally like

we'll see what happens with that crop of top DBs in Texas next year.

I think this is accurate.

But I think the larger picture here is that both LSU and A&M are breaking down the UT barrier and both will benefit from it coming down. And along the way, OU will falter as well.
