The 2012 year in Saints/LSU

2012 has probably been one of the toughest years for me to watch LSU/Saints football.
From the haunting memories of the national championship debacle to the Alex Smith drive that ended our season (where if we get past that game I believed we would've won the superbowl) to the bounty Gate to the Chic-fil-a bowl for a 10-2 LSU team who loses a heartbreaker to Alabama at home.
God, how much more letdown can I feel in 2012?
Mind you, I'm not saying these are statistically the worst times for our teams, I just meant with such high expectations...eh frick it
2012 has been nothing but a fat dog turd wrapped up in a Godiva chocolate box with a beautiful ribbon
sorry I'm just bummed out right now

It's frustrating, but losing is a very humbling experience. The Saints season woes is understandable, The Tigers on the other hand, well I don't have any excuses there.

I am just gonna write of the saints 2012 season. Not like 2005(yuck), but this program was so overwhelmed with Goodell sticking it to them that it just got exhausting. Regroup and move forward to 2013.
And LSU? They had a fine season in my opinion. Not their fault they got a mediocre bowl invite. I woulda been happy with the Outback Bowl. At least they woulda played a Big 10 team. Something different for a change.

22 more days. And I agree with you 2012 has been a shite sandwich for the saints and lsu.
At least if lsu loses to Clemson we can still blame it on 2012.
Here's to 2013!

You are a spoiled piece of shite. And you didnt watch in 2005, or anytime before i assume. This season LSU is a 2 loss team in a bowl game. There are colleges that would fricking kill for that chance to be where LSU is right now. And the Saints have had some great games and some amazing records broken without a HC and with all the other shite we might still finish 8-8. Something we used to not even be able to do. WE WON A frickING SUPERBOWL LESS THAN 3 YEARS AGO. And we might miss the playoff this year for the first time in what? 6 years? Come back when the Saints are 3-13 and you watched them get raped by the dolphins in Tiger Stadium, and there are rumors flying around about them leaving the state. Then we can talk toughest years.

Jan was a tough month, I'll give you that.
But if you seriously are somehow disappointed with 10-2 with a top 5 ranking, then I feel sorry for you.
Furthermore, there's a place to bitch about LSU. It ain't here.
