I think the best one was the first one about the colts leaving Baltimore in the middle of he night, and the band that would not stop playing. Awesome.
I enjoyed this one but it kinda suck that it ended with them being excited about doing the same thing to another city

This one did give me a better understanding of Rickey Williams. I always thought he was just a flake until I watched the documentary. Hope he's found some peace

Into the Wind-Terry Fox I had never heard the story of this guy until this 30 for 30: Into the Wind. Ran a marathon a day for like 140 days across canada on one damn leg. Amazing story...

Am I the only one that liked Ghosts of Ole Miss that was narrated by Wright Thompson? Pretty eye opening for me since I am only 18. I had always learned about all the segregation/racism in school, but seeing that footage effected me a lot more than text did.

1. Unguarded - Absolutely insane 2. The Two Escobars - Really delves into how life was in Bolivia back when Pablo was around. 3. Run Ricky Run - The most introspective player I've ever seen

No love for Without Bias, and barely a mention of Run Ricky Run, Benji or June 17th, 1994? And everybody loves The U? And Broke? Really? On the next 30 For 30: "What if I told you that there was an entire subset of sports fans who can't tell the difference between a good documentary and a shitty one?"

"Pony Excess" was a total fluff piece. ESPN had Craig James on the payroll and completely let him off the hook. They never once forced him to answer any tough questions in regards to the issues at SMU. Instead they provided him with a platform to smooth it out and deflect from the corruptness that he was a part of with his disenginous "aw shucks, if it was going on I did'nt know anything about it" attitude. "The U" was not bad but they conveniently left out the '92 Sugar Bowl. That one game single handedly squashed the famous swagger that not even the loss to Penn St. in the Fiesta could dampen. It marked the end of the culture that made the school famous. "Into The Wind" was disappointing to me. Can't quite put my finger on it but it just didnt stir the emotions that I thought the story deserved, and I remember following the story every morning on the Today show back in 1980 as a ten year old. "The Two Escobars" is mine and I hate soccer. It was able to entertain and translate the politics and passion the sport evokes in those countries.

I LOL'd. But seriously, what exactly makes a good documentary? I liked Benji, but it didn't grab me. It was a Great story but if it doesn't keep you engaged is it still a great documentary? I wanted to put Len Bias in there but it was more of a story about death and drug use than a sports story IMO. There are a lot of very good ones. It shouldn't be suprising that there is so much disagreement.
