Said it a couple of times. LSU will be wise to get this kid. He is a very good route runner, great hands, desceptive speed (not sold on the hand timers at the camp) he never gives up on plays, great work ethic, and he makes people miss after the catch. Hopefully he continues like last offseason and keeps working with specialist that can help him improve even more.
Fontenot, Barbe's quarterback, scrambled all year to extend plays and give his recievers time to get open because of horrible line play. That helped Quinn's numbers along with Smith and the rest of the recieving core, to find the openings in the defense. Quinn's numbers may come down next year due to defenses focusing on him even more without Smith there to pull coverage. I look to see the other recievers at Barbe gain alot of catches due to this.
Only things that make me question whether or not hes going to be a good Div. I reciever are a great reciever, is his height and his ability to fight off the jam. He will see more corners in college with the ability to jam him hard off the line and run stride for stride with him. If he can find the ability to seperate at the point of attack he will be the big play threat the Tigers want.
I still say he will be a Tiger.
