I never said that brah, i just dont think it matters....its irrelevant to me because no times are accurate in high school unless they run track like brazil. I just think its a dumb argument cause hes a very good player
This...Yeah I think this speed argument is stupid to say the least. TQ has produced with big time numbers so what else matters. Think about it for a sec... How many times do you see a receiver just running straight line up and down the field? Yeah, hardly ever! Whether defenses are in man or zone there is so much redirection of receivers that they hardly ever get up to full speed in a route. There's many players who have track speed that don't translate to football speed. Football speed is a lot different than track speed and TQ definitely has football speed. Who should care if he runs an actual 4.3 the dude puts up numbers... Nuff said!

Ok there it is. He said it. Yup I really care that the kid is white. Obviously u must be looking through ur white tinted glasses.
No, it's ok man. It's either that or there aren't enough fournette threads or some sh*t. Don't see why else you would be so bitter about this kid. He is the best WR in the state, who cares if he runs a 4.3 or a 4.6. All I see is 2,000 yds receiving and he is considering LSU.

How come I suspect that if he was black you wouldn't be nearly as vocal about this?
bingo, bango, boingo. Or it could be that he's not from Nola and taking a few headlines away from LF.

Bitterness boy stop! Y'all are speaking of him as if he were the G.O.A.T. The fact of the matter is that he is a good wr in a pass happy offense. He is supposed to put up big numbers now whether it translates to college greatness most likely not. He will be good at LSU not great.

Tell us more Nostradamus, I need the Lotto #'s this week since you obviously can see into the future. Quit while you are behind.

Quinn is a better WR than Fournette is a RB. And that's saying a lot!!!

I take off 4hrs to go watch the game and come back and it's another Quinn thread that made 4 pgs...wow...I hope we land him too but the board is starting to get redundant with the same threads...i.e. quinn, foster, etc.

Obvious Nola homer is obvious.

Looks pretty damn athletic to me. There is a reason he tore up the LSU camp this summer.
Posted on 12/9/12 at 7:25 pm to saderade
It's a summer camp no pads 7 on 7 good receivers are supposed to do that. 7 on 7 is made for offense. Comon man we all know this.

That wasn't me, I just agreed with the guy that did because it was obvious that was the only direction your arguement was coming from.
Posted on 12/9/12 at 7:56 pm to BOSCEAUX
So u agreed right? Guilty by association.
Posted on 12/9/12 at 8:03 pm to Lester Earl
I don't know if I agree with that. Quinn isn't a guarantee for the best prospect in Louisiana or the best prospect even at the receiver position in Louisiana. He was pretty much contained against a smallish Rummel defense and secondary. (Quinn had 4 catches for 47 yards) Dupre probably has more athletic upside and doesn't have Fontenot throwing to him. Fontenot gets some of the credit for those Barbe stats as well. The way Les likes to pound it I also would rather have Fournette than Quinn. Quinn maybe gets 4 or 5 touches a game at LSU. I can see Fournette possibly being another Jeremy Hill type running back.

Dude we are talking about potentially breaking the all time record in the United States of America and you say "pass happy offense " and "not all that and a bag of chips" ....no time to argue with the simple minded. Get LF dick out your mouth and use your brain.
Posted on 12/9/12 at 8:05 pm to peopleschamp
I think that was sarcasm from mr. Lester
Posted on 12/9/12 at 8:07 pm to peopleschamp
Alright let's discount everything he's done and base him off one game. Solid point, Rummel had barbe overmatched at the LOS and it was painfully obvious. That was the difference.
Posted on 12/9/12 at 8:08 pm to peopleschamp
Rummel shut Fournette down to. What's your opinion of him?
