I dont think so, Jones did mention the value of ex players and what they meant to the program. I dont know if that translates into Tee getting a job.
Tee is someone that alot of Vols wanted before Jones was hired. They know him as a player that lead them to an NC, I dont think many know much about his coaching ability.

You don't think many know about his coaching ability? I guarantee you none of them know about his coaching ability. You hit the nail on the head, they just remember him as the QB that led UT to the NC.
