But the offense last season was, at times, very frustrating to watch.

This is true but our pitching carried us. This year our offense will need to be much better and i think it will be. Defense will take a step back with the loss of nola and hanover on the left side of the infield. Hopefully Alex Bregman is as good as advertised and can lockdown shortstop.

Omaha or bust

I hope Bregman and Jacoby can create as quality turns as Nola and Jacoby used to. I know he could play many positions and isn't your typical 2nd baseman, but I really like Jacoby over there. He looks the most comfortable there and makes more spectacular plays due to his athleticism than your average 4.

He and I were teammates for one year once upon a time. Good for him personally, but my loyalties are with LSU. I hope, and I really don't think that complacency will set in.

Ole Joe sure is throwing around TAF money like he had been elected the King of Bacchus. IMO, he is the weak link here. Somebody needs to send him one of those cards out of the airline magazines for attending one of those successful negotiation seminars. He rolls over easier for his coaches agents and the SEC than a $20 whore.

ISWYDT Slim. I think Alleva is somebody's puppet, he sure doesn't seem to have balls/a mind of his own.

I agree with this. Hitting should be better, but SS defense will take a step back. Bregman will likely hit as advertised, but don't expect anything near Nola defensively. Ibarra appears to be a slick fielding infielder and will play somewhere. OF defense will be much better than it was at the end of last season.
