rt3 LSU Fan BR... from NOLA through Laffy Member since Apr 2011 5604 posts	re: Why didn't they just name the team the "voodoo" (Posted on 12/8/12 at 1:51 pm to jakesonaplane) the quick and dirty answer is VooDoo is already in use by a team in New Orleans (yes the AFL team exists... in fact they will play some of next season's schedule in the Superdome b/c of renovations being made to the Arena following the Hornets season) Benson already owns the Pelicans name... so it would probably a bit easier to just go with that... plus Pelicans (esp the Brown Pelican) are awesome This post was edited on 12/8 at 1:52 pm
