I think most baseball fans period would say Cano.

when you are a Yankee fan, and you have seen what these long-term contracts do to your team at the end... having a 40 year old Cano making 20+ Million isn't very good for the team.

Having great production out of Hamilton for 3 years is a great option.. This is a legit question.

If Yankees sign Hamilton this year, they could theoretically have him, Cano and Granderson this year.

The problem is, does paying Hamilton, prevent you from signing Cano long-term with the impending 2014 budget.

Cano, imo, will explore free agency, and will likely sign somewhere else. So what options do you like for the team moving forward?

120/6 would be fine by me. That'd lock him up til 37. He plays a solid 2nd base and swings a good bat. He's not getting anything over 7.

Hamilton is a head case. I don't wanna bank on him producing going forward. Yankees are looking 3-4 years down the road right now. Cano fits in those plans, Hamilton doesn't.
